A Word of Wisdom about Online Research

by Avery Simpleton, Ph.D.

Loved One, these troubled times in which we live are a seething stewpot of spiritual confusion and seducing doctrines of devils (I Tim 4:1).  Never before has there ever been a time when the admonition of Apostle Peter shouts at us so loudly:  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (I Pet 5:8).  The ensnaring lies of the Wicked One abound on every hand on the radio, the television, and now, even more so, on the “Web.”  What many Web surfers don’t realize is that there is a Big, Poisonous Spider called Satan lurking on the fringes of the Web that would make the movie “Arachnophobia” look like a stroll through the park with Mr. Rogers.  “A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished” (Prov 27:12).

Freedom is all about choices.  If all we ever hear is one way of thinking, we cannot be truly free because all we have is one choice available to us.  We need to hear many opinions and give out as many opinions as we can so that folks’ll have more choices, greater things to choose from, and thus more freedom.  Thank God Christians don’t agree on everything.  That means they’re free.  That’s the whole point of this great U.S. of A.  This country was born in the foment of revolution—a revolution of ideas.  So one of the core values of this nation is the supplanting of the status quo through the meeting, conflict, and triumph of ideas, all having equal value and equal validity, and standing on equal footing to be accepted by the masses.

Without free speech, we lose our freedom to choose because all we hear is a censored opinion on things.  It’s the same when it comes to the Word of God.  We need to hear various and sundry interpretations of the Word so that we can be free to choose the interpretation we like best.  The Web offers us the greatest opportunity to choose freely.  But the trouble is that there are many wolves in sheeps clothing on the Web.  Good, tithe-paying churchfolk have been seduced into deep error through their contact with the Internet.  Even though we’re dealing with the technology of our modern, scientific age, we still have to be on the alert because that old Devil, that Serpent, Satan is prowling about to steal the Word and kill and destroy through the reasonings of the natural mind.

Hear it and break free of the Shackles of Sexual Confusion!

Another site of which I wish to warn you is a mocking, Devilish counterfeit of the precious Gospel tracts published by Brother Jack T. Chick Publications.  The Jack T. Chick Parody Archive pokes fun at the Word of God, using pornographic images and descriptions.  Every parent should make sure to block this site from appearing in their children’s internet searches.  This Website was birthed in the very pit of Hell.

Another dangerous Website comes from the ranks of backslidden, apostate Evangelical, ex-believers in the Word.  I happened upon it while doing an internet search to find out why so many precious men of God have been slipping of late into the increasingly-popular sin-arena of homosex.  John Mark Ministries claims to “think maturely about the Christian Faith, but rather than being a “ministry,” what it is, is a sausage factory, and what it really does, is stuff a skin of Christian truth with the lie of Secular Humanism.  Instead of treating sin as sin, they pussy-foot around while countless souls are dying and suffering the wages of sin in a helpless, hopeless hell of torment and suffering for all eternity.  Believers should be sober and vigilant to avoid reading any of the webpages of John Mark Ministries at all cost.  They are an instrument of the Enemy.

Another Website that happened to pop up when I did this search on ministers and homosex was a Bible Study site called “Homosexuality and the Bible By Bruce L. Gerig” which attempts to prove that homosex acts are not a sin.  Isn’t it uncanny at times how these sites just “pop up” in an internet search.  Preachers have said for years that Satan, the Prince of the Power of the Air is in control of radio and television.  I’m convinced that He’s also in control of the Web and I don’t think it’s mere coincidence that the internet is called “the Web.”  Take care, Beloved, to block this Satanic site and others like it lest your children find out about them and veer down a path of destructive sex perversion that will cost them their souls.

Can you see, Dear One, how that Satan is using the Web to ensnare folks and inject them with His poison?  I even found a vicious attack on the Word of God and God’s precious teaching on faith.  The self-appointed expositors of truth on this site attack such anointed ministers as Brother Price, Brother Dollar, Sister Bynum, Brother Duplantis, and Brother Parsley who are men of faith, full of the Holy Ghost.  This malicious attack on God’s anointed was put out by a group called “The Watchman Expositor” which scatters folks rather than gathering them, leaving them prey for the wolves.  But, praise the Lord, I also found a Scripturally-based article on “Ten Reasons NOT to reject Word-of-Faith Teachings” which stands in agreement with some of the objections raised by Dr. Dinkins against what he called, the “Anti-Faith-ers.”  So, you see, Precious One, the World Wide Web can be a source of blessing or a source of cursing depending on the keenness of discernment of the user.

People often think they can spot a mis-truth, but their power of discernment is only as perfect as their knowledge and the only Know-It-Alls that I know are simply arrogant narcissists who don’t even know themselves let alone anything else.  That’s why I felt it was important for me to write this article of admonition and stress that much discernment is needed based on the Word when approaching the internet.  It’ up to the individual Christian to discern what is true and what is false based on his reading of the Word, led by the Holy Ghost, and on the benefit he derives from the five-fold ministries (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) which God hath set in the Church to equip the saints that they be no more children tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine (Eph 4:11-14).  I can only pray that your power of discernment is strong and encourage you to take heed to my warnings as an anointed teacher of the Word because I know my teaching will help you discern for yourself based on the authority I have as a Spirit-anointed teacher.

Catholic heresies confirmed by a Catholic Nun. Listen and learn.

I wish to point out to you a few other websites which have become strongholds of the Enemy.  Please take note of these and avoid them.  “From such turn away,” the Word says.  The Catholics, of course, must needs have a share in the web in order to disseminate their false doctrines and practices.  One such website is www.catholic.com.  Of course, there are many other Catholic lie-factories out there besides this one.  Be careful any time you see the word “catholic” or “rosary” or the so-called “Blessed Mother.”  These are dead give-aways that you’ve entered the iniquitous bedroom of the Great Harlot and Mother of Abominations.  “Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.  For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.  Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death” (Prov 7:25-27).  Remind yourself of her thirst for blood, of her heresies, of her crusades, and of her unholy inquisition, and avoid her like the plague.

Naturally, the Eastern Orthodox would follow in the footsteps of their mother and broadcast their hellacious propaganda far and wide on the internet.  One site they use to spread their ancient error is Ancient Faith Radio.  They spread their lies not only via printed material, but also via podcasts in order to seduce and brainwash the American mind with ideologies foreign to the Word of God and to the values of this nation under God.  In God we trust.  Again, my Beloved, if you see the word “orthodox” and they’re not talking about Jews, you need to quickly exit whatever page you’re on.  Likewise, you need to be on the lookout for words like “Theotokos,” “Holy Mysteries,” “Theosis,” “Pascha,” “Ecumenical Councils,” and the like.  They are sure indicators that you have happened upon their cesspool of idolatrous heresy.

Another site to be avoided is the website of the self-appointed heretic detectives called “Discernment-Ministries Inc.”  The people who run this site claim to be Bible-believing, Evangelical Christians, but they are wolves in sheep’s clothing.  Beware of their venemous and harrassing words.  Anyone who doesn’t agree with their understanding of the Bible they brand as a heretic.  They are among those who scatter rather than gather (Matt 12:30; Lk 11:23).  Their interpretation of the Word is based on the letter, but not on the Spirit and they err, not knowing the power of God.  When they connect the dots of Scripture which contains some things that are hard to understand (II Pet 3:16) they connect them improperly and end up with a picture of a stingy, begrudging Jesus rather than the Jesus that wants his people to prosper and be in health even as their soul prospereth.  Who called them to connect the dots for people anyway?  The Holy Spirit isn’t behind them because he doesn’t contradict himself and he is a gentleman.  These “evangelical” unbelievers have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof:  from such turn away (II Tim 3:5).

I am of the firm opinion that these sites which are spreading grave error and attempting to turn away the deputy from the faith (Acts 13:8) are in danger of committing the unpardonable sin of blaspheming the Holy Ghost (Mk 3:29).  They are of their father the Devil and the works of their father they will do (Jn 8:44).  They are placing obstacles in people’s path which obstruct them from coming to God for salvation, healing, prosperity, the feema flow, and the resurrection body because of their vicious attacks on the Word of God and the ministers of the Full Gospel.

Unfortunately, believers do not yet have the power in this country to be able to stop these obstructions to the Gospel.  So it is of the utmost importance to avoid these errors while spreading our own opinion and stirring the boiling pot of ideas in this country as we rightly divide the word.  “There must be also heresies among you that they which are approved may be made manifest among you” (I Cor 11:19).  All our energies should be focused on saying our opinion the loudest, the longest, and the most widespread and to do it in a memorable way that appeals to the desires of the masses.  We don’t want orthodox and catholic ideology muffling the clarion call of the gospel.  Neither do we want the ministers of Satan under the guise of “evangelicals” obstructing the way of others and stealing the Word from their hearts through the reasonings of the natural mind.  We need to shout the loudest and the longest and the only way we can do this is through the faithful, fanancial support of precious saints like you.
